Tandoori Potatoes

Preparation

  • Place the sunflower oil in a frying pan, let it heat up and add the cumin seeds. Let this simmer for a while on low heat.

  • Add the potatoes and fry until they brown a little.

  • Add the spices: tandoori spice mix, turmeric and chili powder. And possibly salt to taste.

  • The trick is to bake it in such a way that the outside becomes crispy and the inside is nice and soft.


Ingredients

For 6 people:


  • Approx. 500 grams of potatoes

  • 2 tbsp sunflower oil

  • 1 tbsp whole cumin seeds

  • 1 tbsp tandoori spice mix

  • 0.5 tsp turmeric (turmeric)

  • 0.5 tsp chili powder

  • salt (to taste)
