In addition to the recipe for nasi goreng , we now also have the authentic recipe for bami goreng! And the use of rice (nasi) or noodles (bami) is not the only difference. This recipe, which we got from Rychell, is with bok choy and pink shrimp. The short preparation time makes it perfect for weekdays, but also for weekend days when you don't feel like spending hours in the kitchen. Success is guaranteed when you combine it with peanut sauce and satay babi .

Preparation

Step 1. Cook the noodles

  • Cook the egg noodles according to the packaging. Note: don't cook it too soft, because you will be stir-frying it.

  • Add soy sauce when the noodles have drained. Set aside.


Step 2. Make the noodles

  • Finely chop the garlic and chop the white onion. Then chop the celery finely and cut the pak choi into large pieces.

  • Heat a large wok, add oil and fry the onions and garlic. Then add the shrimps and fry them.

  • Break the eggs and stir well into the mixture in the pan, so that visible egg pieces form (kind of like scrambled eggs).

  • Then add the noodles, pak choi and celery. Season with salt and white pepper. Add some more soy sauce if necessary. Mix everything well and keep tasting until it is ready.

  • 250 grams of egg noodles (Soubry or Conimex)

  • 2 tbsp ketjap

  • 1 large white onion

  • 2 cloves of garlic

  • 100 grams of pink shrimp

  • 2 eggs

  • 1 small pak choi

  • 15 grams of celery

  • White pepper

  • Salty
